This Wednesday marks the third Wednesday of the month, which means it’s time once again for Performer Lab at St. Pete Micro Farm.

Doors open at 6:00 PM for social time, networking, and idea exchange.

At 6:30 PM sharp, we’ll begin with a special featured presentation from our own Kasondra Rose, who will be performing the opening 15 minutes of her new show, Almost Famous, a production she is currently developing for the cruise market.

Following her presentation and group feedback session, we’ll transition into our regular Performer Lab format.

Schedule:

6:00 PM – 6:30 PM

Social time, networking, and idea exchange

6:30 PM – 7:00 PM

Featured presentation by Kasondra Rose + group notes

7:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Open mic performance pieces, prepared material, or draw/roll an improv prompt

8:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Group games, workshop discussion, and industry conversation topics including marketing, promotion, booking, cruise work, agents, audience building, and performance development

If you already have material prepared, bring it and get on stage.

If you do not have something prepared, that is completely fine. We have prompts, exercises, and games designed to help performers strengthen improvisational ability, develop stage presence, and push into new creative territory.

Everyone comes in with different goals.

Everyone has different sticking points.

The objective is to create a supportive environment where performers can test ideas, sharpen skills, and identify areas ready for improvement.

It’s not quite an open mic.

It’s not quite a class.

It’s the Performer Lab at St. Pete Micro Farm with Mr. Bill Berry.

Important Notes

• This event ends promptly at 9:00 PM, so please arrive on time.

• If you plan on attending regularly, now is a great time to set a recurring calendar reminder for every third Wednesday of the month.
