Testimonial - Carrie Matteoli: Escaping the 9 to 5

Permit me to tell you exactly how awesome Mr. Bill Berry is. I have known Bill a long time, and he’s been a constant source of inspiration, but I was unprepared at the speed in which he would help me find my voice, my love, and focus on the things I actually enjoy doing to make money.
I don’t survive well in Office environments, this I know. I don’t handle corporate speak, or suggestions that are actually orders, or unclear and changing objectives. Controlling my own income has become a priority, rather than helping someone else’s bottom line. I recently left my job with the federal government, because everything was predicated on “it depends”. (And, you know, the stripping of our union and other cruelties.)
Trying to come up with my own alternative income streams was difficult, but I was lucky enough to be able to talk to Bill about it. In the span of an hour long conversation, we had created a plan and model for skills that I already had that I could leverage into income. In my case, it was live watercolor painting and marker custom greeting cards I could offer by my city’s weekend markets. People crave connection, and that dwindling resource is becoming more and more important as we drift from each other.
We had a plan, actionable steps to reach the best outcome possible, and additional ideas that I could work on learning that fit easily into my wheelhouse.
I’m beyond grateful. My first few outings were wonderful, I forgot what it was like to interact with actual people and trade joy. It filled my heart. I’ve been refining ever since, learning from actual experience in the wild, and added new skills that make me even more marketable and more attractive for strangers to come up and start a conversation.
He’s a life changer, but not a lifesaver. It’s up to you, but Bill will be with you every step of the way.
