This is a heartfelt tribute to the incredible performers, thinkers, teachers, and trailblazers who have shaped my path as a performer, speaker, coach, and teacher. Over more than three decades—starting from my early days with Rootberry through thousands of shows, Guinness records, world championships in juggling, military tours, corporate stages, and my evolution into the "Sword Swallowing Yogi"—I've been profoundly influenced by these individuals. Their courage, innovation, wisdom, and dedication have not only elevated their fields but have directly inspired how I blend extreme physical feats with mindful presence, humor, motivation, and genuine connection.

I offer this as a deep bow of gratitude: to the legends who came before, the peers who push boundaries today, and the communities that keep these arts alive. My own work—fusing championship juggling with authentic sword swallowing, delivering motivational keynotes on overcoming fear, teaching breath control and resilience, and creating team-building experiences—is built on their shoulders. They remind me daily that true mastery comes from respect, continuous learning, and sharing the spark with others.

Sword Swallowing: Honoring the Living Legends of the Art

The sword swallowing community is small but extraordinarily dedicated, and I've been fortunate to draw from its greatest practitioners. These artists have elevated a once-mysterious skill into a respected, motivational, and awe-inspiring discipline.

Dan Meyer – As SSAI President and a 40-time world record holder, Dan sets the gold standard for authentic, motivational sword swallowing. His commitment to real feats (no illusions) and inspiring others through danger has profoundly shaped my approach to using swallowing as a metaphor for fear mastery. I (Mr. Bill Berry) first met Dan in Wilkes Barre Pannsylvania in 2002 for the "Big Swallow" where he and I and over a dozen other sword swallowers set multiple Guinness World Records.

Brad Byers – With 73 world records and pioneering extreme sideshow work, Brad embodies relentless innovation and showmanship. His versatility inspires my own high-impact, family-friendly stunts. Brad has been a long time instiration for me (Mr. Bill Berry) because of his unending innovation and originality. I also pride myself on the creation of original and unusual prop and act presentations, so it's always great to see what Brad is up to.

Dai Andrews – A master of mind-over-body techniques and curved-sword mastery, Dai's focus on mental control resonates deeply with my yogic integration of breath and presence. Dai Andrews was one of the first sword swallowers I (Mr. Bill Berry) ever saw, so he was a big part of the planting of the seed to learn the skill myself.

Brett Loudermilk – A Cirque du Soleil veteran and modern variety superstar, Brett's polished, high-caliber performances motivate me to bring sophistication to every stage.

Noah Royak – My incredible duo partner in the Distinguished Daredevils—the world's only sword-swallowing duo. Noah's precision, energy, and collaboration have been a daily gift in pushing creative boundaries together. (Noah started working with me, Mr. Bill Berry, in 2017, and later moved to the St Pete Micro Farm to deepen his study of sword swallowing under Bill Berry, after 5 years of dedicated practice, he cracked the code and joined the ranks of performing sword swallowers. Noah is also one of the first performers to do a long term residency program under Bill Berry, with the results being a meteoric rise in demand for his show.)

Brianna Belladonna – A trailblazing female sword swallower with sharp comedy and fearless presence, Brianna shows how humor and edge can make the impossible approachable.

Cyrus Pynn – Coney Island-trained and precision-focused, Cyrus represents the gritty authenticity of sideshow roots that ground my performances.

Todd Robbins – A sideshow icon and longtime community mentor, Todd's storytelling and classic stunts have taught me the power of narrative in danger acts. Bill Berry met Todd at the Side Show Gathering In Pennsylvania in 2002 and layter shared the stage with him during "The Big Swallow."

These sword swallowers have inspired my fusion of the art with championship juggling, and I'm honored to carry forward their tradition with professionalism, respect, and gratitude.

Juggling: Celebrating Technical Mastery and Creative Showmanship

Juggling has been my foundation since the beginning, and the innovators in this world have continually raised the bar on skill, creativity, and audience connection.

Spencer Androli – Top-ranked in the 2025 Top 40 Jugglers poll and multiple WJF champion, Spencer's innovative style pushes me to explore new patterns and energy.

Kevin Niittyviita – WJF Advanced Overall Champion and elite club wizard, Kevin's technical brilliance motivates my own 5-club work.

Sereno Aguilar Izzo – 2025 IJA Individuals Gold Medalist, Sereno's boundary-pushing modern juggling inspires fresh approaches.

Delaney Bayles – Multiple-time Top 40 and WJF Hall of Fame inductee, Delaney's all-around inspiration and grace have been a guiding light.

Matt Walmsley – WJF champion with standout high-energy presence, Matt's stage command influences my performance dynamics.

Gideon Elson – 2024 IJA medalist and creative contemporary force, Gideon's artistry encourages experimentation.

Luke Burrage – Longtime Top 40 staple and international entertainer/community leader, Luke's global perspective broadens my own.

The Passing Zone (Owen Morse & Jon Wee) – Corporate/festival legends with comedy and high-skill passing, they model how juggling can build teams and joy. Bill Berry met Jon and Owen in the early 2000's and has several complimentary stories about them in his newest book, "Off Course On Purpose. Coming summer 2026.

These jugglers have shaped my championship-level 5-club juggling, audience engagement, and blend of stunts with entertainment. I'm deeply honored to contribute through my performances and teaching.

Variety Performance: Gratitude to the Blenders of Skill, Comedy, and Spectacle

Variety is where danger, humor, and showmanship collide, and these performers have created unforgettable experiences that inspire my own customizable shows.

Jonathan Burns – 3x Variety Artist of the Year, AGT standout, and Penn & Teller Fool Us alum; master of comedy contortion, juggling, and crowd-pleasing stunts—his energy is infectious. Bill Berry and Burns have worked together in the college booking circuit for years, especially APCA, and it's been a joy to watch Burns career develop and soar.

Brett Loudermilk – Cirque veteran and AGT hybrid star; his modern impact motivates polished variety.

The Passing Zone – Corporate legends blending comedy passing with interactive energy.

Todd Robbins – Sideshow/variety icon and mentor; his storytelling flair teaches timeless craft.

Bindlestiff Family Cirkus performers – Keepers of American circus/sideshow roots with jugglers, acrobats, and more. Bill Berry met Keith Bindlestiff at a juggling convention in early 2000 where they quickly became friends. Bill and Keith have also passed clubs together on stage while both simultaneously swallowed swords. Bill and Keith might even be the first persons in history to pass clubs and sword swallow.

Coney Island Sideshow acts – Pioneers of authentic grit and danger.

Noah Royak – My duo partner, bringing elite collaboration.

Trailblazers like Sally Marvel, Cyrus Pynn, and Brianna Belladonna for their provocateur precision and comedy.

These artists have shaped my fusion of juggling and sword swallowing for corporate galas, festivals, and military events—I'm proud to add to this vibrant tradition.

Physical Comedy & Corporate Variety: Appreciating Humor Through Movement and Brand-Safe Energy

Yoga, Mindfulness, and Yogic Wisdom: Deep Gratitude to the Teachers of Presence and Inner Mastery

As the "Sword Swallowing Yogi," breath control and mindful calm are central, drawn from these profound guides bridging philosophy and modern life.

Alan Watts – Lectures on the wisdom of insecurity and presence inspire my calm amid danger. Alan Watts, perhaps more than any other, has been a major influence in Mr. Bill Berry's growth and development and a thinker, philosopher, and yogi.

Eckhart Tolle – The Power of Now teachings on awareness dissolve fear in performances.

Deepak Chopra – Ayurveda/yoga/science blend for mind-body resilience.

These masters guide my fusion of extreme acts with yogic principles—demonstrating balance and focus in keynotes, retreats, and wellness sessions.
