“Treasures from the Past: RootBerry’s Greatest Hits (According to Our Fans!)”

While going through a mountain of old notes, I recently stumbled upon something that made me smile — a long-forgotten collection of testimonials for RootBerry, my first professional juggling duo with Jonathan Root. Over the better part of 20 years, after hundreds of shows across the world, we would often ask agents, clients, or audience members how they felt about the performances. Little by little, these testimonials piled up… and reading them now feels like opening a time capsule filled with energy, gratitude, and memories.

Below is the collection — kind words from cruise directors, college event organizers, military officers, and families who welcomed us into their lives for a few hours of laughter, awe, and fun. It’s a beautiful reminder of the countless people we met along the way, and just how much heart we put into every show. Thank you to everyone who made the journey so unforgettable. Here’s to the memories — and the ones still to come.

- I just wanted to take a moment to mention Team Rootberry. I have now had the pleasure of working with them twice, Nordic Empress and here. They are always a welcome addition to the team. They are friendly, outgoing and put on a truly great show (standing ovation every show whilst here over the holidays!) and teach a great juggling class and take time to go to Adventure Ocean and do a special show for the kids !! What I really want to mention is last week we were scheduled on Formal night to have The Production Show. Ten minutes before Showtime I got a call to say Girl One could not perform as she was violently ill. Our family watched your Awesome Act last fall at Coastal Georgia Community College and we also attended the Juggling clinic and purchased your DVD.  Since then we have used your DVD at church to inspire people to seek out their gifts, to entertain kids during sleep overs and to learn to juggle ourselves. Our son was juggling a month after we saw you and has defied his doctors most wonderfully (he is now 9).  It’s taken a year for the rest of us to figure it out!!
