Twenty-three years ago, I (Mr. Bill Berry) won the Three Ball National at the IJA competition and festival. This year, at the 2026 IJA in Fort Wayne, Indiana, I decided to do something a little crazy.

On an absolute whim (and prodding from Jonathan Root), I put my name on the list for the Three Ball Prop Competition (formerly the Nationals) just minutes before it began. With zero time to warm up or even touch the props, just a quick stretch in my chair while waiting for my name to be called, then I stepped on stage.

Seems the gravity gods were smiling, because I am beyond thrilled to announce that I won the competition again, 23 years later!
