It’s 5 a.m. — we’re at the gas station on the way to the airport, leaving APCA, the college entertainment conference in Texas. After days of showcasing, talking with bookers, and watching incredible acts, this thought hit me:

Everyone wants to get paid $3,000 for a show. Of course you would! But would you spend $3,000 to stand in front of the people who can actually give you those gigs?

That’s the real test of belief. There’s no guarantee you’ll book anything. You might land 10 shows — or none. But the ones who step up, invest, and show up again and again… those are the performers who turn their art into a career.

I’ve been working these markets for years — colleges, fairs, corporate — and I’ve made my living as a creative for over three decades. I know what it takes to get there, and I want to help you do it too.

If you’re serious about building your entertainment business and want insider strategies, stories, and lessons from someone who’s done it, join me at patreon.com/mrbillberry. That’s where I share the real roadmap for turning your act into your living.

Because belief is great — but belief backed by action is what changes everything.
