From Vision to Reality: The Residency Nears Completion

What started as a vision only six weeks ago is now just days away from being a reality. As we watch this time-lapse of the progress, it is incredible to think that we’ve moved from an initial idea to a finished space in record time. While the original goal was to be operational by winter 2026, we are now standing on the threshold of completion—over six months ahead of schedule.
This project has been a masterclass in the balance between big-picture vision and meticulous financial planning. Bringing a creative immersion program like The Residency at the St. Pete Micro Farm to life requires more than just inspiration; it demands knowing how to manage the numbers and strategize for long-term sustainability.
However, the real secret to this rapid progress has been the power of community. This isn’t just a solo endeavor—it’s a collective achievement. So many friends and neighbors have shown up to swing hammers, move materials, and offer their hands and hearts to help us get this across the finish line. Their support has been the backbone of this expansion.
By creating this space, we aren't just adding a physical structure; we are upholding the ideal of what a real, supportive community looks like. This residency is designed to help performers and creatives pursue their dreams through a long-term immersion program, providing the focus and environment needed for serious artistic growth.
We are roughly eight or nine days out from the final nail. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey. We can't wait to open the doors.
